Counterbalance Forklift Training Mesa - Demand is always high for our popular Counterbalance Forklift Truck Training courses. A Counterbalance forklift is a forklift together with a weight which counters the balance, enabling the weight of the load to be spread equally across the forklift arms. Counterbalance forklifts are designed so the weight behind the center of gravity is counterbalanced by the weight on the lift. The load is projected out from the front of the equipment so it is visible to the forklift operator. This particular type of forklift truck should just be used on stable, level ground or on a prepared surface.
Training is needed for forklift drivers to know the proper way to spread the load evenly across the forklift arms. Trainees will learn how to lower and raise the load vertically and how to tilt the mast of the forklift both backwards and forwards between 5 and 15 degrees. Individuals training would be taught the RTITB standards required for safe forklift operation. People training will also know the types of attachments for the arms of the forklift.
